According to Cairo Governor, Dr. Abdel Rehim Shehata, two contracts are expected to be soon signed with two Spanish companies for solid waste disposal at some Cairo Districts worth L.E. 110 million with works scheduled to start after 6 months. Meanwhile negotiations are proceeding with an Italian consortium to undertake similar scheme at Cairo North Zone. On the other hand shortlisted companies for the solid waste disposal at Cairo Southern Zone were invited to submit their formal bids
